Dr. Moran recently obtained a Doctorate in Counseling and is a published author for his extensive quantitative research on the “Impact of Therapist Demographics on the Diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder.” Dr Moran has extensive training and experience in providing dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). In addition to having his own practice since 2000 in which he works with adults who suffer from severe and persistent mental illnesses, Dr. Moran has been a professor since 2003 teaching Psychology, Human Services, and General Study courses. Dr. Moran is the Human Services program chair at Riverland Community College, in addition to student body advisor. Dr. Moran has also been a licensed social worker since 2002 and has worked in the area of mental health since 1995.
