Rachel graduated from college with a BS Degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services with an emphasis in Psychology. Rachel moved to Austin, MN to work at the Sheriff’s Youth Programs until its closure. Rachel then worked with SPMI adults at an IRTS program for six years and found this to be rewarding in helping adults learn the skills needed to accomplish their personal goals and live in a less restrictive environment. Rachel enjoys working as a Case Manager and Mental Health Practitioner helping people accomplish their goals while living outside of a hospital setting.
